The first sign that I should have done this was my performance in child psychology. I loved this course and earned high marks with little effort. I couldn’t say the same for the rest of my classes. I guess that I was struggling so much at the school because I was under so much pressure. The cost of tuition was beyond my means and working two jobs while attending classes is very difficult. After weighing my options I decided to look into the earl childhood education colleges and I immediately fell in love with one of the campuses. I only wished that I would have explored this opportunity when I was a senior in high school. I finished the program with honors and landed a great job.

While I was disappointed that I wasn’t taking the original path that I had imagined, I feel that the change was really good for me. I haven’t let go of my dream of becoming a professor.
