Careers Advice and
Information
One of the greatest steps you'll ever take is after high school.
This is that point in the road where you have to choose a
direction. You can take the route that leads you directly to work,
but it most likely won't be a high paying position. Or, you can
follow the college path and achieve your degree of higher
education. If you choose the path to further knowledge, then you'll
certainly require some careers advice along the way. After all, you
probably don't know what to specialize in just yet. Or at least
most of us don't know for certain. It's difficult to tell what
field or job position you'll enjoy doing for the rest of your life.
It absolutely pays to shop around.
I've seen my share of college graduates, who graduate with a
wonderful degree and a dream of great income and exciting work.
This is how it's supposed to be. However, then they get hired and
realize that they chose the wrong field and did not get the right
careersadvice. OUCH! This is one massive sting that you'll feel for
a long time. Those four years of exams and homework you just
endured was for nothing. Well, that's a bit extreme, but you get
the picture.
